Yunus Emre (1241-1320), the greatest poet of the Turkish Sufi literature of the 13th century, played an invaluable role in the spread of Islam and bringing the Turkish language closer to the common language. There are various assumptions about where he was born in Turkey. Some researchers say that he lived in Sarıköy, Karaman, Kırşahir, Lumni, etc. They say that he was born and grew up in different places. In general, Yunus Emre is the poet of the entire Turkic world. It is from this point of view that it is known that the poet's grave is located in fourteen regions of Turkey, and that his grave is also located in the Oguzlar cemetery in the village of Oncali, Gakh district of Azerbaijan. All this is due to the love for the poetess that every region and every city considers her as their own poet. In the words of Bakhtiyar Vahabzade, "Yunus's grave is in the hearts of those who loved him."
